I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), advised by Brittany Duncan. I’m a research assistant at the NIMBUS (Nebraska Intelligent MoBile Unmanned Systems) Lab.

My research lies at the nexus of Computer Science, Robotics and User Experience. My primary focus is on understanding user interaction with small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in order to design better autonomy. Part of this involves understanding user response to failures in autonomy, user proficiency with UAVs and incorporating this knowledge to create intuitive autonomy options for users for safer interaction. I also study human-robot proxemics i.e. factors involved in being comfortable around UAVs and their approach.
